Luber Brothers has graciously donated 4 of their lower level season tickets for a good cause! Join the fun and help kick off the football season by placing a bid for two (2) of four (4) tickets to the Dallas Cowboys' first preseason game against DA RAIDAS this Thursday, August 12th 2010! All proceeds go directly to the Greater Dallas Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of BVB!

This charity is actually two parts - two single day auctions for a pair of tickets. Bidding starts Monday, August 9th at 7AM for the first 2 tickets, and bidding will close 12 hours later at 7PM. A second round of bidding starts Tuesday, August 10th at 7AM for the second pair of tickets, and bidding will close 12 hours later at 7PM. All bids should be placed by posting comments to THIS blog. At 7PM on the respective days, the bidder with the highest donation amount will win the tickets.* Bidders are welcome to post on both days and try to win both sets of tickets.

• Small disclaimer: the winner of Monday's auction will have the option to DOUBLE his/her donation and in turn receive all four tickets. If this happens, Tuesday's auction will be canceled. So, do not procrastinate and rely on Tuesday's auction for your tickets!

Please note the picture to the right of the tickets (the bar code has been covered for security reasons). Seats are in section 224, row 7, chairs 1-4. Section 224 is near the northwest corner of the end-zone, and you enter your section through the main concourse down the stairs. Stadium entry is at gates G, H or J.

*The winning bidder is asked to pay in cash. Special arrangements can be made for a check, cashiers check or Paypal payment. If the bidder cannot make payment by the evening of Wednesday, August 11th, the tickets will go to the runner up bidder.

~Charity Field Day~

GET READY FOR THE 2010 BLONDES VS BRUNETTES FIELD DAY! REGISTER TODAY!!!

This year, to help us meet our fund raising goals to play in the Blondes Vs. Brunettes Flag Football Tournament benefiting the Alzheimer's Association, we are hosting an "old-school" style field day! Please join us on Sunday, August 1st at Glencoe Park for a day of fun, games and first place ribbons! Events will kick off at NOON.

Participants will be broken up into two teams, the Red Team and the Blue Team. Points will be scored for the teams throughout the afternoon by participating in and winning various games and relays. The field day will end with a giant kickball game, Red vs. Blue, followed by the awards ceremony and recognition of team MVP's (read: PRIZES!!!). With a donation of $15*, players will sign up for all Team Events. With a donation of $20*, players will sign up for all Team AND Individual/Partner Events.**

Everyone is welcome to join us, regardless of age, gender or athletic ability! You will be notified on the Friday before the field day (July 30th) by Clare with your team color and events schedule. Pre-registration is preferred so that we can distribute players to teams evenly; day-of registration is allowed, but please bring both a red and blue shirt in case. Where: Pizza Hut Park @ 9200 World Cup Way/Frisco, TX 75034 - NORTHWEST side of the stadium (literally, right next to the stadium)

Pick out your cutest sundress or craziest Hawaiian shirt and get ready for Jimmy Buffett! This year, Pat Fraley has helped us find an amazing spot where there will be tons of fun tailgating and lots of action! You do not need tickets to the concert to come out and have a blast! We will be out there all day. Prepare yourself for a ridiculous time that includes, but is not limited to:

Tikis, Bubbles, Leis, Blow-Up Monkey & Silly Hats
Sand/Palm Trees
Washers & Corn Hole
Burgers and Dogs
Flip Cup/Pong
Plenty of beer, gin bombs & jello shots

To help provide the booze and port-o-potty, we will ask for a small donation: $15 per person if you prepay and $20 day of. ALL proceeds will be donated to the Greater Dallas Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
